WARRANTY AND CONSUMER GUARANTEE INFORMATION

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Timber Warranty – 2 Years:

Natural timbers have unique characteristics created by the environment. Variations of grain and colour are a not a manufacturing fault but a direct result of the variability of that natural environment. Timber naturally expands & contracts with seasonal changes in humidity.
We will, within 2 years of the original sale or delivery date of the product, repair or replace, at its option, any part of the timber construction which it deems to be defective in workmanship
or materials.

Foam Warranty – 2 Years:

Seat foams and padding will naturally soften and lose shape over time, leather and fabric covers will crease in accordance with usage. Seat cushion foam materials are warranted against defective material or workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of the original purchase or delivery date.

Fabric|Synthetic|Leather Warranty – 2 Years:

Natural products such as leather have unique characteristics that means no two pieces are the exactly alike. As such, natural markings and grain variations are not considered defects.
Carlisle Furniture & Bedding will, within 2 years of the original sale or delivery date of the product, replace any fabric, synthetic and leather which is found to be faulty as a result of the manufacturing process.

Marble|Slate|Travertine Warranty – 2 Years:

Marble/Slate/Travertine is a natural material, each slab is unique and will contain variations in shading, reflectivity and the distribution and appearnace of the swirls and veins. These variations are naturally occuring characteristics of the material.
Carlisle Furniture & Bedding will, within 2 years of the original sale or delivery date of the product, replace or repair, at
its option, the Marble/Slate/Travertine surfaces if it deems to be defective in technical faults from the manufacturing process result in abnormal or unusual wear, or unusual colour changes.

Concrete Warranty – 2 Years:

Concrete is a man-made product which combines various materials to result in the finished product. For this reason the surface is variable and no two pieces will be identical. Shading, texture and colour variations are not a manufacturing fault but a key element in what makes the product unique and desirable. Despite its strength, Concrete is not immune to small chips & breakages; particularly on exposed edges if impacted with objects. Hairline cracks are inherent character and should not be considered a defect.
Carlisle Furniture & Bedding will, within 2 years of the original sale or delivery date of the product, replace or repair, at its option, the Concrete surfaces if it deems to be defective in technical faults from the manufacturing process result in abnormal or unusual wear, or unusual colour changes.

Stitching Warranty – 1 Year:

Loose threads should be cut off, not pulled and loops should be pushed back in, not cut. Carlisle Furniture & Bedding will, within 1 year of the original sale or delivery date of the product, replace or repair, at its option, the stitching is found to be faulty as a manufacturing fault.

Structural Frame Warranty – 5 Years:

Armrests and backrests are not designed as seating. Do not sit on armrests or apply excessive weight to frames. A frame damaged as a result of force is not covered by warranty. Carlisle Furniture & Bedding will, within 5 years of the original sale of this product, repair or replace, at its option, any part of the frame construction which it deems to be defective in workmanship or materials. Structural frame warranty does not include leather, fabric, recliner actions or seat suspension systems.

Cushions|Foam|Fillings – 3 Years:

Sofa foams and padding will naturally soften and lose shape over time, leather and fabric covers will crease in accordance with usage. Areas of greater use are likely to soften earlier than unused areas. Seat cushion foam and filling materials are warranted against defective material or workmanship for a period of 3 years from the date of the original purchase.

Fabric|Synthetic – 1 Year:

Carlisle Furniture & Bedding will, within 1 years of the original sale of the product, replace any fabric which is found to be faulty as a result of the manufacturing process.

Leather – 1 Year:

Natural products such as leather have unique characteristics that means no two pieces are the exactly alike. As such, natural markings and grain variations are not considered defects. Carlisle Furniture & Bedding will, within 1 year of the original sale of leather covered product, repair or replace, at its option, the leather covering if it is subject to technical faults from the tanning process that result in abnormal or unusual wear, or unusual colour changes.

Zig Zag Springs – 3 Years:

Carlisle Furniture & Bedding will, within 3 years of the original sale of the product, replace or repair, at its option, the zig zag springs which is found to be faulty as a manufacturing fault.

Pocket Springs – 3 Years:

Carlisle Furniture & Bedding will, within 3 years of the original sale of the product, replace or repair, at its option, the zig zag springs which is found to be faulty as a manufacturing fault.

Recliner Action – 1 Year:

Recliner actions are not intended to support weights over 120 kilograms unless otherwise stated. Carlisle Furniture & Bedding will, within 1 year of the original sale of a recliner action, repair or replace, at its option. The recliner action if it is subject to technical faults that result in the action no longer working.

Electrical – 1 Year:

Carlisle Furniture & Bedding will, within 1 year of the original sale of a recliner action, repair or replace, at its discretion, electrical components if it is subject to technical faults that result in the action no longer working. Please do not place excess length of electric cable under the recliner chair. Wires may get caught in moving parts and result in a short circuit in the electrical system.

All Other Parts Warranty – 1 Year:

All other parts not specifically warranted have a 1 year warranty against defective materials or workmanship. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective part for a period of 12 months from the date of the original purchase or delivery

Warranty conditions:

  • The Warranty is valid for domestic and residential use only and is not valid for commercial use.
  • The benefits provided to the consumer by the warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available to the consumer under the law.
  • The Warranty is valid for the original purchaser only when purchased from us either online or i store reseller, is not transferrable or assignable. 
  • The Warranty applies only to furniture that has been assembled, cared for, cleaned and otherwise maintained in accordance with the instructions supplied with the goods.
  • Normal wear and tear is not covered by the Warranty.
  • Damage caused by mistreatment, incorrect cleaning, cleaning materials, applications, or animals, is not covered by the Warranty.
  • Damage caused by soiling, dye, solvent, acid, wine, corrosive chemicals, ink, paint and body fluids, is not covered by the Warranty.
  • Fading or damage caused by exposure to direct sunlight and heat sources or brightly lit environments is not covered by the Warranty.
  • Damage incurred during transport is not covered by the Warranty.

Click & Collect Information

Yes, we offer click and collect. While all items can be collected from our regional warehouse, smaller items can be collected from our stores.

Smaller items such as a bedside or a table lamp, items that can easily fit into a standard car, can be collected from any store or warehouse location and certain larger items can only be collected from our warehouses and larger stores.

If you are picking your order up from a store, please bring enough muscle with you to load your purchase into your vehicle as our team members will be unable to assist. Please also bring blankets and tie downs to ensure your purchase can be safely transported home.

When your order arrives in store, our store teams will be in contact to arrange the pickup with you, this may be via SMS, email or phone call. All items must be collected within 7 days of arriving at store.

For click & collect orders being collected from a warehouse, a member of our team will contact you after your order has been confirmed to organise a convenient date for your collection.

In all cases, you will also need to present valid photo ID to collect your order.
